Course MPS: Motor Pump Systems
Description
Introduces students to fluid power motor technology with an emphasis on their applications in hydrostatic transmissions. Successful completion of this course allows students to specify pump & motor types, mounting configurations, control options per available power and the system's requirements of speed and torque. In addition, they will be introduced to common installation, commissioning and inspection practices. Successful completion of this course allows students to specify pump & motor types, mounting configurations, control options per available power and the system's requirements of speed and torque. In addition, they will be introduced to common installation, commissioning and inspection practices which lead to reliable systems with long service lives.

Attendance considerations:
Students should come prepared with a calculation device, toe guards/safety shoes, and eye protection/safety glasses. A selection of refreshments and lunches are provided, but may not meet dietary requirements.
