If you are the one putting together classes for your organization, you want to focus on providing the best classes for your clients. Instead much of your time is spent maintaining mailing lists, trying to read student handwriting, summarizing messy evaluations and manually updating employee records.  We have fixed that.

For several years we have been providing technical and non-technical training for dozens of large companies.  And for several years we had been frustrated by these same problems.  So some of our developers created online tools for us that have changed the way we and out clients do business.  Now we are making these tools available to others in the training community to make their life easier too.

Seating Chart/Student Sign In
The way it works is that you will create two icons on the desktops of each computer in the training room.  One for the “Student Sign In” and another for the “Evaluation”.  When the user clicks the sign-in application the window opens displaying the correct course and instructor, no wrong choices! The student only needs to fill in their name, employee ID and any other information that you need to have.  This information is stored in a database that is integrated with our seating chart that an instructor can use to see the names all of the students displayed in their correct locations in the classroom.  After using the system for a year now, I would say that the nicest thing is being able to read their names!

In addition, if you choose to host the database at your location we can customize the system to interface to your current scheduling database and instantly display the correct course and instructor for the classroom.  If the powers in change enable it, we may be able to connect to the personal database and mark the students as having taken the class and update student information in your current LMS.  No more paper!  (Of course you can print the report if you want to.)

Online Evaluations
Similar to the sign-in application, the evaluation system simplifies life by providing instant access to class evaluations and summaries to you and to your venders.  This is done by giving your venders user names and passwords so that they too have instant access to the evaluations for their courses and only their courses.  No more copying, manual summarizing and mailing evaluations that are next to impossible to read!  Since everything can be accessed with one click, we have found that the evaluations are being read more and corrective action taken quicker.  We also enable you to have customized evaluations that can be assigned to your classes.

Classroom Scheduling
We have developed a pretty simple interface for scheduling classes in your classrooms.  This is the glue that enables the sign-in and evaluation tools to know what classes are happening.  We are also developing an outlook interface that can link to your current classroom scheduling tool.

Course Reminders by Location
One of the biggest struggles that we all have is getting the word out to the right people about the classes they want.  Courses might be listed on line, but how do we get people to look?  For a more direct approach, it is very easy to get someone on a mailing list.  But a message listing the 200 courses offered next month is a message that is easy to ignore.  There is just too much information.  So how do you do it so that only the courses relevant to the student are sent personally to each student?

Our system enables you to do just that.  You can surgically remind students about the next class or classes in the sequence.  The student can also pick from a list of classes the things that they want to know about.  This is integrated into the sign-in application.  When a student takes a class, they automatically receive no more reminders for the class.  This information can also be mined to determine which classes should be offered.  If there are 97 students that are asking to be reminded about Access database programming, then you know it is time to offer a class!

But there is another level that needs to be addressed.  There my be locations all over the world for your company.  Reminding someone about a Java-Part 1 course in Woodbury, MN really it does not help the student looking for a Java-Part 1 class in Norwood, MA.  Our system enables students to select classes they want to know about and the geographic areas where they are available.

The reminder system is optionally integrated into the student sign-in application.  For example, if a person were to sign-in for a Java Part-1 class, then they would have the option of having the next course in the sequence added to their reminder list.  This is optional and the students can opt not to have the reminders sent.  We have received many complements from students on the reminder system.

Online Calendars
We have also created customizable online-calendars that you can link into your web site.  You create a calendar displaying course information for any number of classrooms.  You decide how many calendars you want.  Each course listed can be hyper-linked to a course description and registration forms.
