This class will provide technicians the knowledge necessary to service and repair Wacker Neuson tier 4 final dumpers to include the 3001 and DW60. Included in the training will be certification to perform Level 1 non-intrusive repairs on the skid steers and compact track loaders. Each technician will receive a technician activity workbook specifically designed for the class. Topics covered will include: machine functions, operation, electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, troubleshooting methods, and the use of the Wacker Neuson Diagnosis & Analysis (WANDA) software and the Perkins Electronic Service Tool or EST. General tier 4 engine technology will be discussed and compared with previous engine technology. The components associated with the Perkins 400F and 800F after treatment system will be studied more in depth so that each technician can fully understand how the system functions and operates.
